Under the direction and guidance of the Assistant Golf Operations Manager, Golf Operation Supervisors will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to colleagues in the golf guest services and retail departments to ensure the successful day to day functioning of the golf operation. 

Job Summary

Under the direction and guidance of the Assistant Golf Operations Manager, Golf Operation Supervisors will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to colleagues in the golf guest services and retail departments to ensure the successful day to day functioning of the golf operation. 

Responsibilities

- Consistently and effectively training colleagues throughout the season  - Providing daily communication and guidance with colleagues, ensuring key information and GEOs for the day are shared in a timely manner.  - Overseeing the day to day functions of the golf operation, including: open/close procedures, event set up and execution, operation health and safety procedures, and wildlife/ inclement weather policies  - Effectively communicating with management in regards to any guest/ equipment issues.  - Meeting with Turf leaders daily to ensure all on-course issues are known and communicated.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 5 driver’s license and driver’s abstract in good standing Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs. (Golf bags, crates of golf balls, boxes of bottles water, retail boxes etc.)
• Business Degree or Diploma in Golf Management program an asset
• PGA of Canada member in good standing and knowledge of golf game and etiquette an asset
• Previous supervisory experience an asset
