We are currently seeking an Assistant Professional for Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, British Columbia. This individual will join our Golf Services department. Job Summary

Reporting to the Head Professional – The Assistant Professional is ideally suited for an individual with experience in retail and teaching. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in all aspects of day-to-day golf operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Professional in Daily Supervision of Golf Operation.
• Day to day operations in the golf shop.
• Assisting with the coordination of all group bookings.
• Assist in the creation of lesson plans and provides both individual and group instruction.
• Teaching lessons outside of scheduled shop hours.
• Provide exceptional customer service with guests.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
• Assist with Inventory Control and Retail Operation. 
• Follows established opening and closing procedures for the golf shop and golf operations department.
• Assists with team member training.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada.
• Education related to the golf industry considered an asset.
• Work effectively within a team management structure.
• Quick learner and a creative problem solver.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with working under all weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, high winds, extreme rainfalls, lightning, etc.

Compensation

• $1600-$1800 bi weekly
• 90% of lesson/clinic revenue.
