Job Summary

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Golf Professional, and will be an integral part of the team providing a high level of service to our members and guests.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are integral in the day to day operation of Upper Unionville Golf Club.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Golf Services Operations
• Assist with Pro Shop Merchandising, Retail Sales and Inventory
• Develop Strong Relationships with our Corporate Partners and Public Golfers
• Assist the Head Golf Professional in delivering a first-class golf experience for all tournaments and event guests
• Help to develop new policies and procedures with regards to Pro Shop and Golf Services operations
• Work with our Health & Safety committee to continue improving safety standards
• Monitor pace of play on a daily basis in accordance with our pace of play policy
• Maintain excellent customer service on a daily basis and promote that service with all departments of the golf club
• Opening and closing of the Golf shop and Back shop
• Working with Point of Sale and completing daily financials

Qualifications

• Must have strong computer skills and strong communication skills
• Positive work ethic and attitude
• Can succeed in a team atmosphere and work independently
• Available to work a weekends and holidays
• Smart Serve Certified (by start date)
• PGA of Canada member in good standing (preferred but not required)
