PARfect Swing is East Oakville’s premier Golf Academy. While in business for less than 3 years, our Golf Academy has exhibited customer growth beyond our expectations and we require another teaching professional to accommodate an extensive and growing customer base. We currently offer private and semi-private lessons, junior clinics, beginner programs and club fitting for Titleist, Taylormade, Callaway & PING. Our teaching facility utilizes Trackman technology, high speed video cameras and. according to Trackman, we have the largest screen in Canada! Add to that, an indoor golf facility equipped with multiple Trackman simulator bays, an extensive pro shop, memberships and golf shop services for regripping, shafting, lie/loft adjustments etc. Get in on this ground floor opportunity with the potential for unlimited growth.

PARfect Swing Golf Academy is seeking the services of a Teaching Professional to join our team.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position (year-round) with excellent flexibility in hours and teaching curriculum. We will provide the clientele - you provide proven skill at teaching/coaching from beginner level to advanced, tour ready amateurs.

Responsibilities

• First and foremost, provide teaching/coaching excellence for students of all abilities. Participate in providing junior clinics, beginner programs and possibly an advanced junior program.
• If desired and qualified by our manufacturers, do the occasional club fitting. If desired and not yet qualified, we will provide (through our vendor relationships) training at our expense.
• Process payments utilizing Square POS for your lessons and possibly club fitting.
• Provide a flexible teaching schedule for our members year- round.
• Work effectively & cooperatively, as well as co-ordinate lesson schedules, with the other host PGA professionals.
• Actively promote PARfect Swing and the game of golf in the Halton/Peel communities.

Qualifications

• PGA of Canada/PGA of America Member in good standing.
• PGA of Specialization in Teaching ideal. Experience at teaching single and group lessons/formats.
• Proficient with golf technologies (video analysis, launch monitors and others). Trackman certification an asset. We will help you get certified if you wish.
• Member oriented with an engaging, helpful and friendly personality.
• Strong communications skills.
• Desire to exceed customer expectations. Patience with customers and their learning abilities a valued trait.

Compensation

• Percentage of lesson revenue, guaranteed minimums.
• Commissions for junior clinics, junior coaching, club fitting when applicable
