In Pursuing Excellence in Junior Coaching: Part 2, you will complete the second module in the program, attend two live instructed session dates and submit a capstone project to be evaluated.

Your facilitator for this course is Glenn Cundari, Glenn is the founder and lead coach developer at COACH+. He is well known for driving change, enhancing capacity and fostering excellence with local, provincial, national and international organizations. He is fully committed to the idea that context matters.

 
Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

•   Recognize there are specific periods related to growth and development when juniors are especially responsive to specific types of training
•   Describe effective strategies for coaching 3- to 6-year olds
•   Design activities to improve tactical, technical, mental and physical skill development using the constraints-led approach
•   Explain the components of seasonal planning and why it's important to plan
•   Develop a positive relationship with the parents/guardians of junior golfers

Evaluation Methods
The Pursuing Excellence in Junior Coaching program comprises of two online modules and two live facilitated sessions, culminating with a capstone project and evaluation.

Successful completion of this course for credits is dependent on completion of the course content, attendance at both live-instructed sessions  and the successful completion of the capstone project (reaching a minimum of 70%) within 3 attempts.
Facilitator Biography
Glenn is the founder and lead coach developer at COACH+. He is well known for driving change, enhancing capacity and fostering excellence with local, provincial, national and international organizations. He is fully committed to the idea that context matters.

Working in Canada’s First Nations, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and 15 other countries, he has learned that listening, asking questions, and making context the leading consideration is his most effective approach. Considering context might even be Glenn’s superpower. 

The owner of an incredibly robust Rolodex, Glenn believes those connections are opportunities for meaningful, long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. An advanced programme graduate of the only Coach Developer Academy globally (Tokyo, Japan), Glenn has since returned to instruct in the programme on two occasions.  One of Glenn’s personal and professional highlights was attending the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer in Dubai, UAE as a head coach in the Team Canada delegation. 

 

Course Policies
"Not Yet" Policy
 

Any learner who does not meet the equivalent passing grade, does not meet the late policy, resubmission policy, missed time policy or contravene the Academy Integrity policy in a given course will receive no credit ("Not Yet") for that course.

Any learner that receives a "Not Yet" grade and is choosing/required to re-take the course will be able to do so at 50% cost of the course registration fee.

Refund Policy

Within 7 days of registration – full refund
Within 30 days of registration – half refund of the course
After 30 days of registration - $0 refund"

*any member who is 50% or more through a PGA Training Academy course will receive a $0 refund. 
*any failing grade for a course will receive a $0 refund.
