Purchasing in the New World: A Webinar with Jack Dillon

This presentation is about the entire exercise of both buying and selling.  Although the Golf Professional focuses great effort and preparation on a strong buying plan for the shop, it is incredibly important to add sell through to the same conversation.  This webinar will present the following ideas:

  • Being specific with your plan
  • The details of the plan
  • A discussion of the products
  • Communications
  • The sell through plan

We will talk about some of the valuable “dos and don’ts” about a buying plan and the inventory that results.  In the end it is about satisfying your golfers, educating your team, while building a strategy of cooperation with the key brands in your shop.  Buying is about energy, of creating enthusiasm for your shop and the product in it.  It is also about making certain the shop team is comfortable and confident with the new brands, new product, new selection.  We will touch on promotions and events to create more interest, more sales.

Overall, we will talk about building a shop that works for the community.  As the hub of the property, your golf shop is the place where golfers come to quench their thirst for what’s new in the game.
