Job Summary
To assist the Head Professional with day to day operations and management of the golf course, pro shop, driving range and power cart fleet. The ability to take a leadership role and create a positive and team orientated work environment.
  • Assist in training, managing and motivating of pro shop staff
  • Check in and assist members and public guests
  • Manage the first tee and monitor on course conditions, pace of play, player conduct, etc.
  • Merchandise, promote and sell pro shop product
  • Special order and inventory management
  • Manage presentation and maintenance of power cart fleet
  • Manage presentation and maintenance of driving range
  • Schedule and instruct golf lessons and clinics to members and public
  • Provide club fitting to members and public
  • Assist in planning, organization and execution of course events, tournaments, leagues and scoring
  • PGA of Canada Class "A" or Apprentice in good standing
  • Teaching and club fitting experience
  • Prior golf service and retail experience
  • Proficiency with co mputer software (Tee On, Golf Genius) and word, excel, publisher
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to take initiative
  • Positive attitude and professional manner and appearance
  • Display leadership and team building skills
  • $3300 -$3700 per month based on experience
  • 90% of Teaching Revenue
  • PGA of Canada dues paid upon completion of season
