Job Summary
Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Innovation Officer in this role, your responsibilities as the Career Development Manager will include planning, enhancing and coordinating new programs and services to PGA Canada members. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and hiring managers while educating and promoting the benefits to all golf facilities in Canada on the value of hiring a PGA of Canada professional. Along with this, you will provide support to PGA of Canada members ensuring the right skill sets are developed and in place in order for them to pursue any career opportunities where the skills and credentials of a PGA of Canada professional can be utilized.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and hiring managers to increase the relevancy and improved hiring practices for PGA of Canada professionals
  • Project management skills in creating, implementing, and managing a program to support golf facilities in hiring a PGA of Canada professional
  • Liaison with hiring managers to develop a job posting that meets the needs for the facility or business and matches with the right PGA of Canada professional
  • Provide support to PGA of Canada professionals in developing skills required during the hiring process
  • Implement an employment and career development strategy for the association
  • Manage the PGA of Canada job posting process
  • Promote the profession of golf through innovative programs and strategies
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in employment or project management sector
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Bilingual candidate is desired
