This PGA of BC Playing Ability Test has a maximum of 30 available spots and will be taken on a first come first served basis

Age 49 or Younger: 78
Age 50 and Older: 80

Female Tee Selection:
Meadow Gardens Golf Club Green Tees
Estimate Yardage (Subject to Change) – 5519 yards
Rating – 71.6
Age 49 or Younger: 85
Age 50 and Older: 87

Applicants who are successful will be sent by email the Apprentice Professional application package.  Completed packages must be submitted no later than 30 days after completing the PAT.

Players who wish to withdraw from a PAT must do so no later than  August 26, 2020 

Covid-19 Restrictions

Bunkers

No rakes are in the bunkers so please repair your footprints by using your feet.

ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS Disturbed areas in bunkers are ground under repair. If a player’s ball lies in or touches a disturbed area or if a disturbed area interferes with the player’s area of intended swing (does not include the player’s stance), the player may take relief under Rule 16.1c.

Flag Sticks

The flag will remain in at all times – DO NOT REMOVE THE FLAG!

The golf ball must be holed 

Scoring

No exchange of scorecards between players before or after their round; final score verification should take place verbally or electronically;

After golf, scoring procedures will be clearly outlined and it should be clarified where to return scores and when scores are considered returned

A final scoring area will be established using social distancing measures whereby you can check your scores and your playing partner can attest them.

You will be asked to re-read your scores to your playing partners and to our team for verification.

Drop your scorecard into the box provided when all scores are verified. 

Scoring will be final once you have left the scoring station.

Caddies

Caddies will not be permitted at this event.
