TORONTO, ONTARIO (March 19, 2008) - Callaway Golf Canada, the Canadian PGA and David Leadbetter, one of the world's leading golf instructors, are teeing up to launch Callaway Golf Canada's 2008 CPGA Lesson Program - a partnership between Callaway Golf Canada and the Canadian Professional Golfers' Association.
The CPGA Lesson Program offers a free 30-minute golf lesson with a registered and accredited CPGA professional for golfers who purchase a set of irons or driver from the 2008 Callaway Golf lineup.
On Tuesday, March 25 in Toronto, David, who has taught many of today's PGA Tour leaders including Ernie Els and Charles Howell III, will share his words of wisdom on the golf swing and the state of the game in the heart of Toronto's financial district. For a donation to the Jennifer Ashleigh Children's Charity, whose mission is to raise funds for seriously ill children and their families, a lucky few onlookers will also have a chance for a swing lesson with the legend.
David will be joined by Sean Hogan, a master certified instructor from the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, who was recently named one of the 'Top 20 Teachers under 40' by Golf Digest.
