The PGA of Canada Remembers

The PGA of Canada is deeply saddened by the passing of Class "A” Professional Brent Mullin following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 46 years old.

Mullin first joined the PGA of Canada as an apprentice professional in 1992. In his early days with the Association, he worked as an assistant at various faciltiies, including Twin Lakes Golf Course, Summerland Golf & Country Club and Eagle Point Golf & Country Club.

In 1997, he joined the professional staff at Chilliwack Golf Club, eventually rising to the head professional position by 2003.

In 2006, Mullin relocated to Kelowna and shifted his focus to sales by founding the Mullin Agency. He had continued in this role ever since, representing several reputable golf brands and product lines, including Tournament Sports, Bushnell Golf, Miller Golf of London and more. As a testament to his success in this sector of the industry, he was a two-time winner of the PGA of BC’s Sales Representative of the Year Award, earning the honour in 2009 and 2013.

Mullin passed away in his sleep Wednesday at the Central Okanagan Hospice. He is survived by wife Tania and his two sons, Brandon and Nathan.

A celebration of life has been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Jan. 20 at the Springfield Funeral Home in Kelowna, B.C.
