PGA of Canada Announces New Agreement with Chief Business Officer Jeff Dykeman

The PGA of Canada has reached a new agreement with Chief Business Officer Jeff Dykeman.

Starting Jan. 1, 2017, Dykeman will handle the association’s national partnerships and programs as one of his key clients within his newly formed management company, One Eleven Management Group.

“Over the last decade we’ve accomplished so much with the PGA of Canada and I’m excited to do my part, along with the national office staff, in helping the momentum continue,” said Dykeman, a graduate of Brock University’s Sport Management Honours Program. “I couldn’t be happier to have the relationship continue with the PGA of Canada and I look forward to the next chapter for both of us.”

Since 2004 the 34-year-old Ancaster, Ont., native has worked in numerous roles for the PGA of Canada. He will continue to oversee all aspects of new business development for all departments alongside PGA CEO Gary Bernard and national office staff.

“On behalf of the PGA of Canada, its national board of directors’ and national office staff, I look forward to working alongside Jeff for the betterment of our association and 3,700 members,” said PGA of Canada CEO Gary Bernard.

Named as the PGA of Canada’s Chief Business Officer in 2013, Dykeman has played an integral role in creating more than 25 national partnerships with top corporate brands in Canada and around the world. He also played a title role in launching the new Hyundai PGA Scramble; launching the PGA Team Championship; re-launching the PGA Championship of Canada; creating the PGA of Canada Player Rankings; organizing the Solider On Golf Camps; and launching of the PGA of Canada’s national trade magazine.

Dykeman’s previous roles within the association included stints as both the Director of Business Development & Brand, Manager of Business Development, Manager of Education & Employment and Assistant Tournament Director.

In 2013, named Dykeman one of the Most Influential People in Canadian Golf and he was recently recognized as one of Canada’s Sports Business Thought Leaders by Sports Business Canada.
