Four CPGA Members to Play in the CN Canadian Women’s Open

ACTON, ON (August 14, 2007)
– Four Canadian PGA Members are set to challenge for the $2.25 million (US) purse 2007 CN Canadian Women’s Open, August 13-19 at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta.

With exempt status on the LPGA Tour, Lorie Kane of Charlottetown, PEI will be teeing it up at the Open along with fellow non-exempt LPGA Tour player and CPGA Member Kim Brozer of Red Deer Alberta, who gained a sponsor’s exemption into the Open.

Jeanette Kerr, Apprentice at Royal Mayfair Golf and Country Club, received an exemption into the Women’s Open to represent her home club.

Marire-Josee Rouleau of St. Lambert, Quebec and Apprentice at Rosemere Club de Golf received exemption into the Open after winning the 2006 Canadian PGA Women’s Championship.
