Bursary Recipients Announced

The PGA of Canada Foundation is proud to announce the 20 recipients of its 2014 Bursary Program.

Earning bursaries are Mathieu Paradis, Mitch Walz, Doug Hastie, Christopher MacDonald, John White, Matthew Palsenbarg, Blehr MacKinley, Carla Munch-Miranda, Chad Lavallee, Nick Starchuk, Luc Deschamps, Kent Fukushima, Courtney Campbell-Leveck, Casey Johnson, Matthew Cella, Jeff Palmer, Erin Thorne, Kevin Bergeron, Jillian Wyne and Adam Werbicki,

“On behalf of all 3,700 PGA of Canada members, I congratulate these 20 bursary winners for their hard work and dedication,” says PGA of Canada president Constant Priondolo.

The PGA of Canada Foundation Bursary Program is to assist, encourage and promote the attainment of professional development and part time education opportunities to enhance the skills and abilities of PGA of Canada Members and Candidates for Membership.

A bursary award is contingent upon a Member or Candidate for Membership completing one or more professional development opportunities during the 2014 year. This bursary is only valid for the cost of registration/tuition of any one or more professional development opportunities during the calendar year.

Applications are judged by a three-member independent panel and awarded based on academic achievement and contributions to the community.
