Fairmont Banff Springs to Host Mr. Lube Tournament for Life Pro-Am

The PGA of Canada and Mr. Lube Canada are pleased to announce the Mr. Lube Tournament for Life Pro-Am moves to the famed Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Club this July.

The annual event, which supports Prostate Cancer Canada, takes place on the morning of Monday, July 13.

“Mr. Lube is strongly committed to helping advance the work of Prostate Cancer Canada and our continued partnership with the PGA of Canada and now the Fairmont Banff Springs will provide an incredible experience for our guests that day,” said Stuart Suls, Mr. Lube Canada President & CEO.

Stanley Thompson, Canada's master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes at Banff Springs in 1928. The course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. Located in the heart of Banff National Park, the world famous Fairmont Banff Springs hotel stands as a landmark and backdrop to the golf course.

The Fairmont Banff Springs is currently ranked No. 6 on SCOREGolf’s Top 100 Golf Courses in Canada list.

A PGA of Canada professional will accompany each group in the Mr. Lube Tournament for Life Pro-AM, with every particpant receiving an impressive gift pack from Adams Golf and TaylorMade-adidas Golf.

Tyler LeBouthillier, PGA professional at Silver Springs Golf and Country Cloub, won the 2014 Mr. Lube Tournament for Life Pro-Am with a 5-under-par 67 at Country Hills Golf Club in Calgary.

Wyndance Golf Club in Uxbridge, Ont., once again hosts the Toronto-based Pro-Am on Monday, June 22nd.
