Save the Date -- Coach of Developing Competitors Workshop '15
When: January 26-31, 2015
Where: PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance at PGA Village. Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Cost: $1,500. However, you can apply for a $500 PGA of Canada bursary to offset costs. You are also encouraged to contact your provincial/territory coaching representative for coach funding opportunities. The PGA of Canada's Education Department is also pleased to offer a payment plan for interested PGA of Canada members.
How to Register: Registration is now open under Education>Education Schedule on the PGA of Canada's website. Members will be able to register until January 12, 2015; however, only the first 20 coaches registered will be confirmed.
Accommodations: Hotel accommodations have been arranged at Residence Inn by Marriott, St. Lucie West (1920 SW Fountainview Blvd.) at a rate of $89(USD)/night. A block of rooms will be made available for PGA of Canada members until December 28th. Please CLICK HERE for details on how to take advantage of this rate.
We will also connect all coaches registered, as past CDC workshops coaches have rented a house for the week also.
Facilitators: Glenn Cundari, Technical Director PGA of Canada; Liam Mucklow, Head Teaching Professional, The Golf Lab; Penny Werthner, Dean of Kinesiology, University of Calgary; Jason Glass, Jason Glass Performance Lab; Derek Ingram, Men's National Amateur Team Head Coach; Tristan Mullally, Women's National Amateur Team Coach; Robert Ratcliffe, Development Squad Lead Coach.
What to Expect: Interactive sessions with a real coach camp feel to entire workshop. There is outdoor/practical experience for every module over the six days with aforementioned world-class facilitators.
