PGA of Canada Announces Partnership with Carr Golf Travel

The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce a new partnership with Carr Golf Travel.

As part of the partnership, Carr Golf Travel has become an official partner of the PGA of Canada for golf travel in Ireland and Scotland and PGA of Canada Members are now eligible to play in the Carr Golf Invitational Pro-AM in Dublin, Ireland.

“The PGA of Canada is delighted to be entering into a partnership with Carr Golf Travel,” says PGA of Canada CEO, Gary Bernard. “We believe PGA of Canada members will see the opportunity in this fantastic partnership.”

Carr Golf Travel has been in operation for the past 25 years and is recognized around the world as one of the premier golf operators for trips to Ireland and Scotland. The company was founded by Joe Carr, one of the world’s all-time leading amateur golfers.

“Carr Golf Travel is delighted to be partnering with the PGA of Canada. Canadian golfers are increasingly regular visitors to these parts, recognising the unique golf links offering, increasing direct access and favourable exchange rates and value,” says Marty Carr, CEO of Carr Golf Travel. “We hope this partnership will make it easier for the PGA of Canada members to plan and execute travel here with their members.”

Through Carr Golf Travel, PGA of Canada members have an opportunity to take advantage of travel packages to Scotland and Ireland for themselves and their members alike.

PGA of Canada of Canada members also have an opportunity to play in this year’s inaugural Carr Golf Invitational Pro-Am in Dublin, Ireland, Oct. 21-25. Participants will stay in the exclusive five-star Burlington Hotel, located in Dublin's leafy and picturesque South-side. Four rounds of golf will be played on some of Ireland's finest links courses including Royal County Down, Baltray, Royal Dublin and Portmarnock.
