PGA of Canada Partners with Golfradar for Fantasy Golf Challenges

The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce a new partnership with Golfradar, an exciting new fantasy golf experience.

The partnership includes specially branded PGA of Canada fantasy golf matches for friends and followers of the Association. The first competition takes place this week for the 2013 Masters Tournament and continues for the U.S. Open, the British Open, the PGA Championship, the RBC Canadian Open and the PGA Championship of Canada sponsored by Mr. Lube & presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf.

“Thanks to the team at Golfradar, the PGA of Canada is very excited to add this unique element to our digital properties,” says PGA of Canada CEO, Gary Bernard. “The fantasy challenge for our own PGA Championship of Canada will become a very fun and engaging tool for golfers at the home clubs of PGA of Canada professionals playing in the championship.”

Golfradar, a division of Brand(ark) Inc., based in Vancouver is the most engaging fantasy golf platform in the marketplace.

“We are very honoured that the PGA of Canada has chosen to utilize our fantasy golf platform to engage and entertain its members and golf enthusiasts across Canada”, says Golfradar CEO, Todd Patrick. “Golfradar is set to change the fantasy golf landscape and reinvent the relationship between fans and the game of golf.”

Participants in this week's Masters fantasy golf challenge will compete for impressive  prizes, such as a TaylorMade R1 driver, TaylorMade Lethal golf balls and a PGA of Canada Club Glove travel bag (for the top PGA of Canada professional).

Special grand prizes for the PGA Championship of Canada Fantasy Tournament, which takes place June 24-28 at Magna Golf Club, will be announced in the coming weeks.
