The PGA Remembers . . .

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of long time Maple Downs Head Golf Professional, Irv Lightstone on Friday, March 8, 2013.

Irviis survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry and children Elizabeth, Richard, Brett and Matthew. Father-in-law of Louise and Karen. Fondly known as Grumpy by his grandchildren Madelyn, Joshua, Jesse, Alexandra, Carley, Daniel, Alyssa, Meghan and Luke.

Irv's 45 year tenure at Maple Downs had a profound effect on the lives and golf activities of many present and past members. He will also be fondly remembered by his peers and the many golf professionals he influenced and mentored during his iconic career.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, March 10th at 12:30pm at Steeles Memorial Chapel. Following the services and funeral, a reception will be held at Maple Downs G&CC.
