This year’s field features players from the LPGA and Symetra Tours, PGA of Canada professionals and some of the country’s best amateur players.

“I’m very excited about the quality of the field we’ll have at the PGA Women’s Championship of Canada presented by Nike Golf,” says PGA of Canada President, Gregg Schubert. “There’s a lot of fine players from the LPGA and Symetra Tours, as well as a bunch of great amateurs, but I’m extremely proud to see a number of PGA of Canada professionals teeing it up.”

In addition to Sharp, former winners Laura Bavaird (2010), Lanie Cahill (1993), Jessica Shepley (2009) and Cathy Sherk (1987, 1990) will tee it up.

While Ginny Brown, Sydney Cox, Emma Jandel, Brittany Johnston, Langley, B.C.’s Sue Kim, Lisa Maunu, Candace Schepperle, Ashley Sholer, Renee Skidmore and Kim Welch all play on the Symetra Tour.

PGA of Canada professionals are well represented at Ussher’s Creek with Megan Chapman (The Academy at The Georgian Bay Club), Rhonda Fleury (Henry Brunton Golf), Jennifer Jaszek (Copetown Woods Golf Club), Eva Kovacs (Muskoka Highlands Golf Club), Andree Lapierre (The Toronto Hunt Club), Jacklynn Miller (North Bay Golf & Country Club), Mary-Pat Quilty (Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club), Laurie Rybski (Ladies Golf Club of Toronto), Sylvie Schetagne (Pinegrove Pine de Golf), Linda Shephard (Barcovan Golf Club), Lindsey Smith (Sunningdale Golf Club), Emma Taylor (Cardinal Golf Club), Margaret Trainor (Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club), Carrie Vaughn (The Clublink Academy at Glen Abbey) and Jillian Wyne (Red Deer Golf & Country Club).
