PGA of Canada unveils Patriot Golf Day Logo

The grassroots golf initiative supporting and honouring military members and their families now has a distinctly Canadian logo to call its own.

The PGA of Canada, in collaboration with Golf Canada, is pleased to unveil the logo for Patriot Golf Day Canada, the national initiative that will raise funds for the True Patriot Love Foundation.

“We’re very pleased and excited about the new logo for Patriot Golf Day Canada,” says PGA of Canada CEO, Gary Bernard. “I think it’s going to appeal to both members of the Canadian military, as well those in the Canadian golf community who are looking to support this initiative.”

Golfers who play on Labour Day weekend at participating Patriot Golf Day courses across the country can donate any dollar amount to the initiative.

“It’s important to remember PGA of Canada members can easily register their course online,” Bernard says. “Then, it’s as easy as promoting it around the club and setting up some sort of donation collection mechanism in the pro shop,” adding, “it could be something as simple and creative as using a military helmet from an Army Surplus store.”

Money raised from Patriot Golf Day will go to the True Patriot Love Foundation, which supports and honours members of the Canadian military and their families.
