The Final Showdown
The stage is set for the final showdown at the PGA Championship of Canada sponsored by Mr. Lube and presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf.
Lindsay Bernakevitch (Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club) and Eric Laporte (Club de Golf Moncalm) meet in the championship’s final match, Friday afternoon at Country Hills’ Talons Course, with the P.D. Ross Trophy and a first-place payout of $15,000 on the line.
In Friday’s semifinal matches, Bernakevitch won 2-up over Eddward Boudreau (Gorge Vale Golf Club), while Laporte was a 3&2 winner over Brad Clapp (Chilliwack Golf & Country Club).
The championship match gets underway Friday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. MST, with the third-place match at 1:30 p.m. MST.
