The PGA Remembers . . .

The PGA of Canada is deeply saddened by the passing of longtime member, James MacLeod.

Jim passed away peacefully at his home in Windermere, Ont., on Sunday, Feb. 12. He was 91.

A member of the PGA of Canada since 1965, Jim was Head Golf Professional and General Manager at Windermere Golf & Country Club from 1972-1993. He was also Head Professional and General Manager at Tyandaga Golf Club in Burlington, Ont., for some time, and spent years working in Scotland and Bermuda as a golf professional.

He played in two British Opens, coached members of the Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup teams, and coached Bermuda at the World Cup of Golf.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nan and the many family members and friends he has touched through the years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, the Manna Food Bank or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
