The Votes are In

After weeks of voting, the masses have spoken, electing Dan Bathgate of Kawartha Golf & Country Club in Peterborough, Ont., as the best moustached member of the PGA of Canada.

Bathgate garnered 33 per cent of the vote, narrowly edging Colin Lavers of Seymour Golf & Country Club in North Vancouver. Chris Billings of Kingswood in Fredericton rounded out the top three. In total, nine PGA of Canada members took part in the annual moustache contest.

For his moustache growing abilities, Bathgate takes home a PGA of Canada E-Store $100 gift card. The new E-Store features numerous PGA-branded items, such as Tervis Tumblers, travel bags, wallets, laptop bags, toiletry bags, blazers and dress shirts.

The moustache contest wrapped up a month of the PGA’s support of Movember. This year alone, Movember raised a staggering $112 million globally with $39 million being raised in Canada in support Prostate Cancer Canada.

Prostate Cancer Canada is the Official Charity of the PGA of Canada and a proud partner in the PGA Championship of Canada sponsored by Mr. Lube & presented by TaylorMade/adidas Golf and & the Mr. Lube - PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada presented by Cleveland Golf/Srixon.
