PGA Of Canada Launches New Website

A new look and new functions highlight pgaofcanada.com

(ACTON, ON) September 16, 2011: The PGA of Canada launched its’ new website www.pgaofcanada.com this week. The new website features a clean new look and includes many new functions. The new site also reflects the associations’ new name ~ PGA of Canada.

“The new site has been in the works for a while”, said PGA of Canada Chief Executive Officer, Gary Bernard. “Our goal was to develop a website with new features and a refreshed look to coincide with our change to PGA of Canada. We believe the new look better reflects our association, our logo and gives a truly Canadian feel”, added Bernard.

Some of the highlights of pgaofcanada.com are:

• Find a Pro: A powerful search tool that gives the public access to the programs and services of over 3,700 PGA members. The tool can be used to locate a golf professional, a facility, lessons or programs in a specified city or across the country. Find a Pro gives access to the largest network of golf professionals in Canada.
• A complete tournament section with photo galleries and live 9-hole scoring.
• Information on specialized golf programs such as National Golf in Schools, CN Future Links and Get Golf Ready.
• Information for those interested in becoming a golf professional and joining the PGA of Canada and an area on the benefits of hiring a PGA professional.
• Along with several other features, the site continues to host PGA TV, and has a link to follow the PGA of Canada on Twitter.

“I’m very excited about the launch and the opportunity to showcase our members to the world”, said PGA of Canada President Glenn Cundari. “Our members are experts in the game and business of golf and the new website and Find A Pro gives them a platform to highlight their skills and expertise. I encourage all golf enthusiasts to take a look at the website and learn more about our members”, added Cundari.
