Jocelyn Falardeau Wins 2010 Canadian PGA Movember Competition

ACTON, ON (December 17, 2010) – A month of growing a mustache followed by a month of nationwide voting has finally come to an end as Jocelyn Falardeau of Club de Golf Montcalm in St-Liguori, QC registered the most votes on www.cpga.com (English & French) to win the inaugural Canadian PGA Movember Competition.
Finishing in second place was Cole Marshall – Candidate for Membership at Yellowknife Golf Club followed by Germain Francoeur – Associate Professional at Gorge Vale Golf Club in Victoria, BC.
“I want to say congratulations to the Canadian PGA and all of the Professionals for getting involved with a great cause. The Gaudet family from my golf club was a great supporter of this initiative and I have to thank everyone that voted for me – it was a lot of fun,” said Falardeau. “Special thanks goes to my girlfriend who let me wear this thing in my face for the entire month. Sorry honey but I will be growing one again next year too!”

It was a fantastic campaign for Prostate Cancer Canada as they have set the mark as the highest amount raised of any country in the world – a remarkable 20 Million dollars and over 118,000 registrations.

The Canadian PGA Movember Competition asked Canadian PGA Professionals to submit photos of their Mo’s, with the winner receiving a Canadian PGA logo’d merchandise prize package.
