ACTON, ON (May 28, 2009) – The Canadian PGA is excited to announce that due to listener demand, the Canadian PGA Radio Show will be broadcasted on an additional day and time. The radio show which currently airs every Saturday morning from 10 to 11AM EST will replay in an additional time slot on Sundays from 7 to 8 PM EST on TALK 820 AM in Southern Ontario and across the internet on www.talk820.com starting this Sunday, May 31st.

“This is exciting news for the Canadian PGA, our Members and the Canadian golf industry as a whole,” said Jeff Dykeman, Manager of Business Development and Host of the Canadian PGA Radio Show. “The feedback and support from across the country has been outstanding and we’re thrilled to have this partnership with TALK 820 and Astral Media to tell the story.”

The show will celebrate its 11th instalment this Saturday, May 30th, hosting a variety of key movers and shakers in the golf industry in Canada. The featured guest this weekend is Matt Hill, one of the hottest amateur golfers in Canada currently lighting up the NCAA as a sophomore golfer at N.C. State. The Brights Grove, Ontario native has collected six victories in the past seven events, including finishing as co-medalist at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship in April and winning the NCAA Central Regional in early May. His seven total victories give him the best season in ACC history. This weekend he looks to keep the streak alive at the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship in Toledo, Ohio where he is competing for an individual title after his team failed to qualify. A victory in the final event of the season would give Hill arguably the greatest year in NCAA golf history. Click here to follow Hill at the Division I championship
